Steel Hand Chipper 1" X 2"

Item Code: AHCH12
A slight variation of the Steel Offset Hand Set, the Steel Hand Chipper is used for more precise trimming or cleaning up and straightening the chiseled edges on softer types of stone, such as marble, limestone, sandstone, and bluestone. Like the Offset Hand Set, its blade is offset to one side of the tool so the working edge of the blade is inline with the handle. However, the face of its blade is beveled back, giving the Steel Hand Chipper a sharper working edge to the blade. Its steel blade is hardened for increased durability, but it will require more frequent regrinding than a Carbide Mason's Chipper.
